Fotona® Laser Services
The Fotona® Time Walker™ advanced laser system was added to our clinic in June of 2022. It is a unique, dual Er:Yag and Nd:Yag laser system dedicated to multiple non-invasive and extremely effective treatments based on newer technologies in beam profile optics, power supply, and proprietary software advances, allowing safer and more effective targeting of laser energy to all levels.
4-D and 6-D Neck and Facelift
The Fotona 4D® Non-Invasive Neck and Facelift stimulate and tightens your facial tissues at 4 different levels from both inside the mouth and through the skin surface. This leads to the production of new collagen and natural fillers that restore firmness, tightness and volume to aging skin. The improved circulation benefits from new capillary proliferation create a healthier and younger skin infrastructure for delivery of oxygen and nutrients. The 6D treatment adds in SmoothEye™ and Liplase™ options discussed below. Many patients are able to discontinue using fillers in the face and lips due to Fotona’s® volumizing capability. This treatment is offered as a package of three monthly treatments and a yearly maintenance treatment.
SmoothEye™ for Wrinkles
SmoothEye is a non-ablative, minimally invasive treatment of the upper and lower eyelids and areas around the eyes that using the Fotona® Smooth mode. This reduces wrinkles and lifts the outer eyebrow area by improving skin elasticity and stimulating collagen production. It is performed quickly and gently with little or no down-time. A series of three initial treatments and a yearly maintenance treatment is recommended.
LipLase™ for Lip Enhancement
LipLase™ allows for a quick, non-invasive plumping of the lips by stimulating new collagen synthesis and collagen remodeling. This gives a very natural-looking plumping of the lips without down-time, bruising, needles, or fillers. The new fullness is best achieved by three initial treatments and then a yearly maintenance treatment.
NightLase® for Snoring
Perhaps Fotona® laser’s most important health application is its ability to shrink and tighten the throat mucosal tissues and reduce the size of the back of the tongue. This non-invasive, patient-friendly office procedure effectively reduces snoring and the complication of obstructive sleep apnea. Most patients no longer need their oral appliances and find this a comfortable and satisfying solution for regaining a good night’s rest for themselves and their partner. Three treatments are performed over 2 months, with a yearly maintenance treatment recommended.
Fotona® Laser for Regenerative Healing and Pain Management
Fotona® has developed a new hand piece that can direct healing energy to deep tissues, including damaged or torn muscles, ligaments, fascial membranes (like in plantar fasciitis), and tendons. The laser energy stimulates your natural healing process by causing micro-trauma that is then repaired by the migration of your natural growth factors and stem cells to the injured which replaces damaged tissue with healthy and stronger new tissue. Fotona® laser also creates neo-vascularization, a phenomenon of new capillary proliferation around the damaged tissue to speed healing and allow a complete recovery. The end result is resolution of pain and return to full function without medications. Dr. Gardner may also recommend PRP or stem cell treatments for more significant injuries.
Eliminate Toenail Fungus
Onychomycosis, or toenail fungus, can finally be eradicated by a combination of topical Tolcyclen (available only through a physician’s office) and a series of Fotona® laser treatments. Oral medications are usually not needed.
Fotona® Laser for Scalp Hair Regrowth
Fotona® laser has the ability to rebuild and increase blood flow to the scalp through the process of neo-vascularization, which literally means “creation of new blood vessels.” This is useful in both male and female pattern hair loss, which are caused by hormonal imbalances and a genetically programmed loss of supportive circulation that provides vital oxygen and nutrients to the hair follicle. A series of initial laser treatments is recommended followed by maintenance treatments as needed. Often, Dr. Gardner will recommend PRP treatments at the same time to enhance and accelerate hair regrowth.
Fotona® Laser for Male Erectile Dysfunction and Female Orgasm and Labial Rejuvenation
Protocols have been developed that will allow Dr. Gardner to enhance his Penis-shot and Orgasm-shot procedures. In men, we are able to improve circulation and penis volume for larger, stronger erections. In women, we can enhance clitoral circulation and nerve connectivity for reaching orgasm more easily, as well as tightening the vaginal entrance for enhanced sensation for you and your partner. The Fotona® Laser can also restore volume to the labia for a younger appearance of the outer genitalia.
